Our Story

Kool-Paws Dog Shoes are inspired and created by Zyan “The Sickle Cell Kid” a young Brave Boy who was born with Sickle Cell Anemia.

Zyan often noticed that when he and his beloved friend, Zuko, would come in from playing outside, Zuko would spend hours licking his feet, sneezing, and whimpering. Not knowing anything about allergies, Zyan just wanted to help Zuko. One day he had an idea. Zyan put his socks on Zuko's feet before they went out to play. Anxious to see if it worked, they came in early, and sure enough, Zuko hardly licked his feet! And that is how Kool Paws™ was born.   

Now Zyan's mission is to help other children like himself who suffer from Sickle Cell Anemia.
